The hill

We took the kids to Centennial Hill in Champaign and took them for a few rides. Stephen loved it as you can tell. Madison on the other hand...not so much. If you look at the picture with Jeremy and her coming down the hill...that is not a smile on her face. Poor child. Hopefully she will like it next year.

Toys and big shoes

A couple more pics of the christmas festivities. Madison decided to wear daddy's boots last night. Ya think they are a tiny bit big?? She's doesn't seem to think so.

Christmas cont'd

Here are a few pics of some of the gifts the kids got. If you look closely at Stephens picture...he is holding a dart gun. He got one and daddy got one. Plus 100 extra darts. OMG, I have been finding darts EVERYWHERE! Thanks Santa!

Merry Christmas 2009!

We have Christmas cookies that Stephen helped decorate and some chocolate milk left for Santa. A picture of the presents that santa brought. And the micro picture is for my mom's enjoyment. See I really can clean it!

Updates

Madison has yet another ear infection. Infected from her inner ear to her tonsils. Amoxicillin here we are for 10 days. grrr. She is also cutting the rest of her molars and got two shots yesterday. Lord she was not a happy child last night. I had the hardest time getting her to stay asleep. Specs from the 15 month well baby yesterday. She weights in at 30.7lbs and is 81.5 cm long. That equates to 32.09 inches long. Her head circum. was 49 cm. Lord...big all around. She is dropping a little in weight, but you should see her move.

A short video of the men at work. Also the Christmas lights on the house and my attempt at being a chef. What do you think.

Christmas #2

Here are some highlights from Christmas with my brother and sister in law. Also a picture of Stephen helping daddy wrap gifts.

Grandpa and Christmas #1

My parents came down this past weekend and we had Christmas early since they are in South Carolina with my grandpa this year. Here are some highlights.

Holiday dressup

My kids decided that they really needed this stuff for Christmas. So I decided to make them wear them:)

Fall Days and Sleeping

One more video of Stephen mowing the leaves and a few shots of Madison and the family. Our dog Pepper and Stephen with a very nice "are we done yet" expression. My favorite is the one of Madison sleeping folded in half. Yes, she sleeps like that all the time. Strange!

First Ear Infection

Yep, that's right. Madison has her first one. Actually the first one of both of my children. My sitter calls this morning and was telling me that my daughter has been crying most of the morning and pulling at her left ear. News to me...she always has to do stuff when she isn't around me. I couldn't take off work today so my mom (angel she is) went and got her, took her to the dr, and kept her for the rest of the day until I get off of work. Amoxicillin for her until it's all gone. Poor thing. I can't wait for her to talk so she can tell me what's wrong. It makes you wonder how long they have been hurting her. Sorry...mommy guilt moment there:)

Kids and Pumpkins

Spooky Pumpkins

The "master" hard at work with his homemade pumpkin carving knife. The final results.

Pumpkin carving

I particularly like the one with Jeremy holding the pumpkin guts and the expression on both of their faces.

No more crib

That's right...I am taking it down this weekend. She hasn't slept in it in over two weeks. I think the baby mattress is too hard and noisy. That along with her waking up everytime I try to put her in there has led me that decision. We took the bottom mattress off of Stephen's bunk bed (don't worry he sleeps on the top) and laid it on her floor. She loves it and the fact that she can climb on it and bounce around. I will have to get video. Yet another step in my babies growing up:(

Babysitting night

Here are a few photos from when we babysat our niece and nephew. Stephen stuck around for the fun too. Madi went to nana's. Mamma needed a break.

Cake and time outs

A picture of Madison's birthday cake and an example of what happens if you sit in time out too long.
