A day in the life of the Paceley Family. Mostly about our kids, but often you might see mommy or daddy or the dogs. Enjoy!!

Updates
Well, I haven't been on the blog for about a week now so here is the story behind that. I last updated the blog when we were on our way up to Chicago for a much needed Valentine's vacation. We had a wonderful time, ate a ton of great food and stayed at the fabulous Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL. Excellent place to stay and they have an amazing spa. I got the 25 minutes good to go treatment and I will be getting another one very soon! Now for the depressing part...
As I was sleeping on Tuesday morning around 3:30a.m. I woke after feeding my daughter and had some pain in my lower back, around my side and in my lower abdomen. We called Jeremy's mother in law to meet and get the kids and headed to the hospital. Now just to put this in perspective, I am not a wimp when it comes to pain(afterall, I did deliver a 10lb baby!) I was in so much pain, I almost called the ambulance. If I would not have had the kids, I would have, but I didn't want to scare them. My son was freaked out as it was. So, 45 minutes after leaving home we arrived at the hospital(meanwhile, the pain has magically disappeared). We go in anyway, b/c nothing should cause pain like that! After 4 hours in the er, they determined that it was a ovarian cyst that burst and I was free to go home with the morphine that they decided to give me for pain. I was out Tuesday and Wednesday to try and shake the morphine side effects. By the way...no one will ever give me that stuff again...horrible! I am fine now. I have a little back pain from the event, but nothing compared to that morning. Here's hoping that none of you ever have to have one of those...I would rather have un-medicated labor!!

The cousins

Here are a few shots of two of the Paceley cousins. The older one is Makaylah. I believe she is just over 2 1/2. She will be 3 in July. The younger one is Caleb. He just turned 7 months. Here are some shots of Kaylah and Stephen playing. They were pretending to play the wii while the men were taking a break. Caleb is chillin out with him mom. He was getting tired and just wanted to cuddle.
Back log

Just a few back logged pictures of Madison. She is showing how she likes to hold her feet in one...and even smiling while she's doing it. Pretty good for a baby that is practically naked! The other ones are showing how she is learning to sit up. She does pretty good as long as she doesn't lean. If she does that she falls over. The eating picture is when Madison decided to eat an entire container of food. Such my piggy. I believe it was either sweet potatoes or squash.

Madison 4 month
Yesterday Madison went to the doctor for her 4 month well baby visit. Here are the stats 19.05lbs, 28 inches long, and head circ 17 1/2 inches. She was pretty good and only cried when they measured her and when she got three shots...my poor child! She slept on the way back to the sitters and was pretty good for the rest of the day. We had to give her Motrin 3 times, but she was in a pretty good mood. Today on the other hand...
My sweet little girl decided to turn into a drama queen at the sitters. She only wanted mom and she cried for 30 minutes straight. I was late for work and now I sit here wondering about her. As of 10:05 she is still sleeping and hopefully she wakes up in a better mood. Either her legs hurt or she ate too much food last night before bed. She ate an entire container of sweet potatoes and drank 8 oz of formula with cereal before bed. Lord, please let my drama queen behave herself this afternoon.
