Baptism Continued

These pictures were from at the beginning and the end of the baptism. Stephen was getting kinda restless at the end so he was crawling around the floor. The priest said that was cool so we just let him do his thing:) The other pictures are of everyone sitting while the priest was talking and then both kids were having crosses put on their forheads and their chests(Catholic thing).

These pictures are of the kids getting holy water poured on them. Madison's picture is right after she got dunked. They were both really good and neither one of them cried.

Baptism

Bear with me as there will be quite a few posts to cover all of this. We had both kids baptized on 5/24/09. Here we have Stephen lighting a candle in honor of his great grandpa who he never met. The other is myself, madison and her godparents just before she was showered with holy water.

Mark the day again

Yet another mark the day...5/21/09...Madison pulled up to a stand in her crib last night. I was cleaning up dog pee(long story) and I walked by her room and had to do a double take b/c she looked really tall! There she was standing there with the biggest grin on her face. So cute. How do kids grow up so fast?

Big Boy Bike

Not really the big boy bike, but it's the first time I have caught him on video actually pedeling. He is growing up so fast. Next thing you know, he will be dating. Wait, let's not get ahead of ourselves!

Hicups and giggles

So cute what happens when baby hicups meet baby giggles:)

Teeth and bikes

Mark another day...5/18/09 Madison cut her fourth tooth. Hopefully she will be less cranky. On the other hand, she is going to drive me outta my mind because she decided to grind her newly found teeth. Oh my god, I hate that sound! Hopefully that doesn't last too long. I will be putting many chew toys in her mouth to keep her from doing that.
On the same day, my big man showed me that he can pedel his bike all by himself. No help at all. He was driving around last night in the driveway. I am so proud. I will see if I can get video tonight so that everyone else can see.

She mobile!

Mark the day...5/17/09...Madison started crawling. She's kinda slow at it, but if you taunt her with just the right toy she is on the move. Once she gets going, I will take some video but for now she is just too slow and it would probably take 5 minutes or more to get her. She is also working on the second of her top teeth...do you think she is in a good mood??

No more teeth!

Well my little(big) girl is at it again. After a brief visit last night to Daniel/Steph's house my cute little bundle of snot comes home and starts hacking...badly. I put her to bed thinking it is just from being outside and she wakes up around 1 ish hacking up. She sounded like a mack truck. I gave her some tylenol and off to sleep she went. Jeremy thought she needed to go to the dr this morning b/c she sounded really bad. So I took her, taking more time off work, only to be told that the drainage from teething just went down her throat and she is having trouble clearing it out. Get her a vaporizer and some saline drops for her nose(I bet she is gonna like that!). So $20 bucks later and the only good news I have to report is that she doesn't have a cold and she is 23lbs 11oz!

More teeth!

5/9/09 Madison got her third tooth! Now she is working on the other one and has a snotty nose to go with it. Not in the best of moods, but not great either. I never had this many problems with Stephen was teething.
Ah girls....

Bouncin'

A video for your viewing pleasure. This bouncing is mild to what she normally does.

First home made hair cut

Last night Daniel and Steph came over to hang and help with our water leak(long story). We decided to cut Stephen's hair ourselves and save some money. What do ya think? I think he looks handsome and onry:) The other picture is of Kaylah(my niece). She wanted her hair cut like Stephen's and we firmly denied that request:) Thanks for the trimming help Steph. You know I can't do it! lol

Eating a biter biscuit

Bitter biscuit

Something new to chew on! I found toddler bitter toast at the store and figured it would help her with her cranky upper teeth. It does for a little while and then things just get messy.

Mickey D's

Last weekend I took the kids to Mickey D's...Stephen's favorite place to play. He climbed around and got his socks very dirty and Madison sat in the high chair and was very loud. She likes to yell. Makes her feel like she is part of the action:) If you look close you can see her bottom chompers too!

Oh looky here...cookies.
Who me???

Here is a picture of Stephen playing his new learning game. This particular one you have to move the mouse anound and put the stuff the dog asks for in his mouth.
The other picture is Madison with daddy and that look on her face is priceless. My remote daddy...don't even think about it!

Cool Shades

Here is a few pictures of Madison showing Stephen how cool she looks in his sunglasses.

Update

I know I haven't been on here since right after easter...sue me:) I haven't really been busy, just lazy. The weather here pretty much stinks b/c it has been raining for weeks it seems. Just not in the mood to take pics or blog. Have to get back on that! Just a couple of updates. Madison is working on her top two teeth. She is so grumpy. She broke her fever yesterday and now she has two white bumps on her top gums so they should hopefully be here any day. She isn't crabby any more, but she sure does like to yell and make noise. Hmmm...wonder where she gets that from??
Stephen is good. He is ready for Spring and Summer when he can go outside for hours upon hours and play. Come on sunshine...where are ya!? I have started him on a toddler program on the computer to try and teach him his colors and numbers and things. He pretty much likes it. Haven't played in a few days, but maybe we will tonight. Jeremy is good as well. The weather is taking a toll on his knees so they are swollen and hurt. Again, where is the freaking good weather. This past weekend was a hard one for us. Our dear friend from the lake, Dorothy, passed on. It was a blessing really because she was in much pain from what we were told and now she can be at peace. We traveled up to Chicago for the visitation and funeral and saw all of our Indy friends. It was good to see everyone under the circumstances.
One last note: we will be getting the kids baptized soon. We are going to an informational class on Sunday to get all the details and then we are going to set a date...again. Yes, this is the second time we are trying this...don't ask...it was a mess the first time! Better luck this time around. I will make sure to post pics of the baptizism once it happens. I do have a few new pics and I will try and post them next week as our computer at home is slower than frozen molasses!:)
