New Development!

Hi Everyone!

Some new updates...yesterday 3/22/09 Madison rolled from her stomach to her back. She has been from back to stomach for sometime, but finally got from stomach to back...so excited! I scared my sister-in-law b/c I started chanting go girl go!! She just looked at me like I was crazy...which isn't far off! lol lol Also, Madison decided to try some juice yesterday as well. Not a big fan yet, but I bought her some different stuff today that hopefully isn't as tart and we will see if she likes it. Updates to come soon! Stephen has also made some good progress. The other day I was listening to him as he was roaming through the house...1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Not even thinking about it...just counting away! I just stared at him...where did that come from!?!? Way to go Stephen!!

Monster Trucks
















On Saturday we got free tickets to the monster truck show in town so we took Stephen again. We took him last year, but had to leave early since he was tired and so young. This time we stayed longer and he enjoyed himself. Various pictures are posted. He is smiling as we arrive and then the one with his ears covered. He had them covered the entire time, but I think it was just a reflex b/c he said they weren't noisy. We caught a picture of one as it went over the cars...this one is his favorite(driven by a girl). I also tried to catch one doing a donut, but you know those don't turn out well. The last one is daddy holding Stephen up and he is waving for a tee shirt that they were giving away for free. Unfortunately he didn't get a free one, but mommy and daddy spent some money and bought him one.

Here are some updated pics of our girl. By the way...she now offically has two teeth!! The one of her on the changing table is showing off her best quality as the shirt says...Mommy's wake up call...and she is an expert! The middle one was the first successful bath time with out minutes of painful screaming. I think the tub scared her the first time. I had to put Stephen in with her so she would relax. She is getting used to it. And the last...the one grandma has been waiting for...she finally grew enough hair for me to barely and I stress barely get a bow in it. So cute isn't she?

Stupidity in motion

Okay so yall know about Madison and her great teething experience. Let me tell you what was a result of the up all night adventures of mom! Since the little turkey had me up all night on Sunday I decided to do some house work on Monday. This included me loading the dish washer with everything I possibly could. Now for those of you who don't have a dish washer there is a heating element in the bottom of the machine that heats up and dries your dishes for you. For those of you who have dish washers...you know where this is going:) Since the top rack of my dishwasher was packed full I decided to put baby bottles on the bottom rack(this for future reference is a NO NO!) So my dishwasher washes on and it comes to the dry cycle. I was also cooking by this time and I start to smell something a little funny. I smell my food...not there. I smell the fridge...not there. Not in the sink either. Then my nose makes it over to the dishwasher and my eyes got about as big as basketballs. The burnt plastic smell was coming from my dishwasher. I take a brief moment and pray to god it's not what I think it is and open the door. OMG, I have melted two baby bottles!!! They are stuck to the heating element and melting fast! I grab tongs from the utensil drawer and pry the things off before it completely ruins my dishwasher. Needless to say, I had to wait for it to cool and Jeremy had to removed the molded plastic. Ah, the result of little sleep! God, I love baby teeth...NOT!

Small Catch-up

Hi All:

I send my sincerest apologies that I haven't put anything on the blog lately...mainly due to the fact that my husband either doesn't bring it home or when he does I forget about it. I will update more pictures soon. As for the big news...drum roll please...my big girl has teeth! That's right...mark it down...first tooth 3/9/09. She has gotten one of her bottom teeth and the other one is right behind it. On the down side of all this...she is really cranky. I am talking really cranky. She has had a fever over 101 since Sunday night reaching as high as 102.5 this morning. I took her to the dr just in case and they are going to run tests if her fever is that high on Thursday morning. She has been crying alot at the sitters today, but for now she is sitting with Joyce and smiling...little turkey! So for now, we use tylenol like it's going outta style and keep the orajel on hand. Come on teeth...break through!
