Stupidity in motion
Okay so yall know about Madison and her great teething experience. Let me tell you what was a result of the up all night adventures of mom! Since the little turkey had me up all night on Sunday I decided to do some house work on Monday. This included me loading the dish washer with everything I possibly could. Now for those of you who don't have a dish washer there is a heating element in the bottom of the machine that heats up and dries your dishes for you. For those of you who have dish washers...you know where this is going:) Since the top rack of my dishwasher was packed full I decided to put baby bottles on the bottom rack(this for future reference is a NO NO!) So my dishwasher washes on and it comes to the dry cycle. I was also cooking by this time and I start to smell something a little funny. I smell my food...not there. I smell the fridge...not there. Not in the sink either. Then my nose makes it over to the dishwasher and my eyes got about as big as basketballs. The burnt plastic smell was coming from my dishwasher. I take a brief moment and pray to god it's not what I think it is and open the door. OMG, I have melted two baby bottles!!! They are stuck to the heating element and melting fast! I grab tongs from the utensil drawer and pry the things off before it completely ruins my dishwasher. Needless to say, I had to wait for it to cool and Jeremy had to removed the molded plastic. Ah, the result of little sleep! God, I love baby teeth...NOT!
